Enduring Wisdom

In generally all ancient texts are saying about rebirth-consciousness and how it occurred. Also they insist ones birth is the appropriate his own previous deeds or to finish his remaining work. For example it is said the Maharashtra saint Jnneshvar who wished to compose one crore abangas on Lord Panduranga but he could not complete so he took one more birth as Tukkaram and he finished (Kodi) crore abangas. Alike if ones wish in his last minute what he think as the same to finish he has more and more births.
The legend of Krishna and Arjuna their previous birth before the Mahabharata they were a twin called Nara Narayana.
Nara-Narayana is the twin-brother incarnation of Lord Vishnu on earth, working for the preservation of (dharma) righteousness. Nara is the human soul, Narayana is God. Arjuna being identified with Nara, and Krishna with Narayana. The Devi Bhgvata Mahapuranam says (in 4th skantam and 5th chapter). Bhagavata puranam also has Nara Narayana vrudhantham.
Dharman a dutiful man who was a strong belief in God and an earnest well wisher to fulfill religious obligations. Who born Lord Brhama's mind-consciousness, he married Dakshaprapathi's ten daughters. One of his wife named Murithi observed “Payasa virtham” to vishnu, and Sri Vishnu appeared in front of her and said “We born as your children” and disappeared so she conceived and in ten months she gave birth a twin male babies, they named them as Hari and Krishna. One child is normal human whitish color and another is like dark bluish color so all people called them as Nara -Narayana. They ingeniously grown and they learn all veda sastras and they left to Badrika Asramam and they performed austerity on the bank of River Ganges for very long years.
In the mean time we see the branch of the story.
There was a cruel demon king named Dambhodabhava has all wrongful conduct, and also he wished to perform a penance, for as usual like any other demons wished to have strong and also immortal life so for that according to his guru's instruction he went to forest and perform penance for many long years on Lord Surya. So lord appeared in front of him and asked “O Dambhodabhava I am pleased on your penance tell me what is your wish “ the demon was very happily he asked that “Prabo I am too delighted to see you pranams prabo I wish to have immortality for ever, another is I wish to be ever strong and I never to be tired,” Lord answered that “Dambhodabhava yes you will be strong as your wish but immortality is not possible If a man born he will die that is the perpetual rule even to gods, so apart from that ask some other wish” the demon thought for some time he caught a brilliant idea and asked the Lord “ O lord in that is a case give me Shasrakavacham (1000 Armors,) that no one can break easily, one should do one thousand years penance then he can remove one armor as that one has to do penance for 1000x1000 years then only one can kill me so O lord that kind of boon bestow me” Lord said yes I bestowed as your wish” the Lord disappeared. Once he got boon from the Lord he begin to give trouble to devas, humans, animals and every thing, and became unbearable so all devas, Rishis went to satyalogam appeal to Brhama he said “O devas and Rishis I can do nothing about that so come and follow me to Vaikuntam and we appeal to Lord Vishnu” all went to Vishnu and appealed about their grievances” Vishnu said do not worry I will kill him in time now be patience for some time I do the needful” as he said
he incarnated as twin brothers to Darman and Murithi. They had all the siddhis in their penance' and they enjoyed praying to Lord Siva. Their mother also encouraged them to learn warfare and the two brothers learnt the art of warfare.
The two of them were inseparable. What one thought the other was always able to finish. Both of them trusted each other and never questioned the other. As time went on, Sahasrakavacha demon started attacking the forest area surrounding Badrikasramam, where both Nara and Narayana were staying.
Nara went to Sahasrakavacha, and said O'Sahasrakavacha! I challenge you to a fight!' Sahasrakavacha to emit a hollow looking at Nara, said “O Rishi you are a pathetic human! You really think you can defeat me! I am! The great Sahasrakavacha! Do you even know how I am protected! Do you know anything about me!?' Nara smiled and said calmly, 'You want to talk some more or you are willing to fight with me?'
Sahasrakavacha looked Nara's calm eyes and for the first time since he got his boon, felt mild fear in him. He said nervously, O Rishi 'I can be killed only by performing penance for a thousand years. You cannot....' Nara looked at Sahasrakavacha and said. 'O sahasrakavacha I have not done any penance....But my brother Narayana is doing it for me! and instead of him, I have come to fight with you!' Sahasrakavacha with anger he started laughing loudly O rishi think seriously, that your brother's penance would not come to help you... He is separate, He is not you and that does not count.'
Nara merely smiled at him, his weapons raised. Sahasrakavacha was now annoyed and murmuring him self 'this weak human is willing to challenge me to a fight and was not even worried that fighting with me certain death for him and all for what? Destroying only one of my armors. Thinking that
Sahasrakavacha raised his weapons and the battle broke off, Sahasrakavacha faced to attack Nara and was amazed. He found that Nara was powerful and having a lot of power from the penance of his brother. As the battle went on, Sahasrakavacha realized that the penance of Narayana was giving Nara strength. As Sahasrakavacha's first armor broke he realized that Nara and Narayana were for all purposes one.....They were just two persons having the same soul. But Sahasrakavacha was not too worried. He had lost only one of his armors. He watched with pleasure as Nara fell dead, But Sahasrakavacha when he felt happy all of sudden he saw Narayana come running to his brother he could not believe what he was seeing. ...Sahasrakavacha looked at the running sage and roared at him, 'O Rishi Narayana see your brother is dead and for what?' 'Just to destroy one of my armors!' Sahasrakavacha pointing Nara's body to Narayana. 'Hai Could you not advice your brother ? Did he really think it was worth dying just to destroy one of my armors?' Narayana smiled and looked at his brother. He closed his eyes and muttered a mantra. Sahasrakavacha could not believe his eyes when he saw Nara wake up! Sahasrakavacha timid way as he realized that Narayana had performed penance for a thousand years or obtained the 'maha mritunjaya mantra' Sahasrakavacha realized that he was doomed when Narayana picked up his brother's weapon and challenged him. Nara now retired to perform the penance. Both Nara and Narayana performed penance for a thousand years while the other fought with Sahasrakavacha. The minute Sahasrakavacha's armor was broken, the person fighting with him fell dead only to be brought back to life by the other.. Sahasrakavacha lost 999 of his armors by the twins. Realizing that he could never beat the two brothers, Sahasrakavacha gave up the fight and ran away. He decided to take refuge with the Surya because he only bestowed boon. Nara and Narayana both went to Surya, 'Nara said O surya hand over that demon to us now' Narayana said. 'He has caused great devastation to the people everywhere, He is a devil' Surya said , 'My Lord Please forgive him, he is my devotee, He has worshiped me and he has come to me as refuge 'I cannot just let him down now' Nara very angrily looked at Surya . He took some water from his kamandalam and sprinkled on Surya and cursed him. 'O Surya you have gone against the darmam we asked you a sinner but you refused for this I give you a curse that you would be born as a human and suffer with humiliation for this act' Surya bowed his head. He knew that he should not give shelter to a demon but he was his devotee and also he has come as refuge so he was willing to pay the cost for his devotee. This incident  took place at the end of the Treta yuga. at the end of a kalpa Yuga Pralayam on earth so due to the change of the Yuga the Demon escaped from the death. The Treta Yuga ended and the dwapara yuga started... To fulfill the promise to destroy Sahasrakavacha, Narayana and Nara were reborn as Krishna and Arjuna. Due to the curse Dambhodbhava and Surya together were born as Karna, the eldest son of Kunti, Karna was born with one armor as a natural protection, the last one left of Sahasrakavacha. if Karna had the Armour, Arjuna would have died so Indra went beseeches the last armor from Karna, Karna was actually the demon Dambodbhava in his previous life,in his present birth Karna he led a very hard humiliation life to pay for all the sins committed by him in his past life. Respect on demon as Karna's previous boon Nara as Arjuna did penance for one thousand years on Lord Siva to get pasupatstram and he killed Karna with that Astram. Yet Karna also had mixer with Surya, though he was the powerful, bravest man ,but his birth was fully pathetic and he was the most tragic warrior.

This story given a nice taught to the world. One does not know when he/she will get punishment or reward. The god's judgment is always unique.  he is charging without seeing any partiality from god, human, demon bird beast all and every thing the same.
If you do good yes you will experience good. By chance ,If you be bad  you will experience bad things. Another thing is demon or human whoever, whichever kind of boon got from the god  the lord he will act accordingly.there is no doubt.  Very simple example is Pandavas and their nature is nice lesson to mankind. First brother Darman his nature is following the righteous path and  he is also archer but not specialist. The second brother is Beema he is a strong bodybuilder.  he is Ghada expert. Arjuna he is having a very famous skilled in art of  archery. Sahadeva is expert on sastras and Nakula is empower of  high wisdom. All the four brothers ware being very obdiant of to their elder brothers. Sage Vyasar taught  to the world that from A Monarch to till a normal peasant should obey to righteous “Darmam”, should be skilled in whatever the work, should have strong will power all along practice for god's enduring wisdom.
